Facebook offers free Wi-Fi phone
Facebook is working on a feature that will allow users to call each other for free, obviously, through Wi-Fi. The service will be similar to Skype, with audio, video and voicemail. For starters it will launch just in the U.S. but the rest will surely follow soon continents.
Besides just in the U.S., iOS is just all in the beginning probably. The idea is great considering that many already use Facebook Messenger offered to send messages to friends, it would be great to be able to call and see?
In other news, Facebook will use Skype technology infrastructure and for this, the official said a spokesperson from Skype. With the new Facebook feature could become a fearsome foe for Skype, given the huge user base that it has.
PS: Voice Mail option is already available on Android in Europe, just install Facebook Messenger.
